Want to become a Voiceover Artist?

About

Do you have a great voice or want to try working as a Voiceover from home?

Do you find it painful trying to research Voiceover online, then get all confused trying to pull information together from different channels?

I Coach Voiceover Artists too!

Have you wondered about becoming a Voiceover Artist, but want more info or don't know where to start?

I've got you covered.

As a former Senior Executive Radio Producer, I know what clients are looking for.

As a Voiceover Artist, I know how to deliver high quality work from my home studio.

I teach all the essential skills for working as a Voiceover Artist, from practicing and recording scripts with direction, to creating your first voice reel, to setting up at home and how to get work. You don't need a Voiceover agent to get work as a Voiceover Artist (although having one dosen't hurt).

There are many ways to get work and 99% of it is online. In fact, most of the time you won't have to leave home for Voiceover work unless you've booked a job at a recording studio somewhere. And if so, congrats!

How to set-up as a voiceover artist from home.

My first ever home Voiceover studio was in a closet. Seriously!

And it did the job beautifully.

I learned how to build home Voiceover studios when I worked as an Executive Producer on Global's largest UK radio networks, including Capital FM and Heart Radio.

When I became a voiceover artist, I couldn't afford the £7,000 for a professionally built home studio, so I adapted what I knew and built my first home studio myself, on a budget.

You see the secret is, most Voiceover Artists have a home studio and most are home-made.

When I started out, people tried to tell me I should invest in a professionally built home studio. But when a company quoted me £7,000 to build it, I nearly died of shock!

Then I thought i'd better do it myself.

So I did.

I have built all my home studios myself, on a budget. I currently have 2 home studios - a compact noise proof vocal booth and a larger recording studio.

My home made vocal booth is in a corner of a spare bedroom. I recorded 99% of the work on this website in there, including national TV & Radio advertising campaigns!

I still use it today because it does the job well.
